What a neat idea! Add a little love or friendship note inside and you'll have a perfect gift for your beloved or friend! This little copper charm might also be a pendant, depending on the way you use it.
Each of these envelopes has a hinged articulated top that opens and closes. Although there is no latch, it remains nicely closed by design. The charm measures 1-1/4 inch across by 3/4 inch high. On either side of the envelope is a little loop for hanging. You just might choose to hang it by one loop and hang another dangly from the other loop.
Our envelope is unfinished copper and shows some patina. This will clean nicely if you choose, but be sure to use a finish of some sort if you don't want it to show that patina again.

Glassine Envelopes are very important to photographers and artisans, stamp collectors and now for party planners! We don't recommend you use one as your outer mailing envelope as these envelopes are translucent and the inside will be readable by all who touch the envelope on the way through the mail. Additionally, glassine envelopes do not have any type of adhesive on them. To close them simple fold down or tuck in to the back of the envelope.
We're happy to offer business-sized envelopes, commonly known as size 10. These measure 4-1/8 by 9-1/2 inches and feature a triangle flap for closure.

Created from chipboard, the mailer opens like a book and inside are four recessed wells to hold the slides.
The rounded indentation at the top of each well is a finger notch to make it simpler to place and remove each slide. Of course, you can do just about anything you want with these - stamp them, paint them, collage or découpage them. Create a little shrine or use it as a special frame (with microscope glass to cover the indentation.
The chipboard is a bit over 1/2 inch thick, so it is nice and sturdy. When closed, the mailer measures 4-1/4 inch by 5-7/8 inches. And, you can actually mail a little shrine to a friend (after securing it so it doesn't open) because each double mailer conforms to US Postal Regulations regarding minimum size for First Class Mail!
