From the famed stationery company, Dennison, these classic gummed seals hail from the mid-20th century. We were fortunate enough to find some old seals, but no complete packages, so we decided to separate them. The gummed adhesive is still quite good - it is water active, but, please use a sponge or other applicator to be safe. You might even choose to use another adhesive just in case.
This set of seals features lovely birds including a redbird (cardinal) and a robin.

Vintage Eureka St Valentine's Day Seals - Booklet of 36

From new old stock, we have a stapled booklet of 36 fun and romantic Valentine seals. There are six different die cut designs per page. These are gummed seals - they won't stick unless water activated. They were originally intended to be licked, but because these are vintage and have been stored, we think it best to use a damp sponge or envelope moistener.
These seals are from Eureka, a classic holiday decoration company. We expect that these hail from the 1960s.

This wonderful sheet of 124 different coats of arms of the world are old-fashioned perforated gummed stickers. The images are in full color and are great for any project relating to world geography, peace or travel. These were printed in 1986, so we're sure some of the countries have changed names and may even have changed their symbols!
Please remember that these are gummed (not self-stick! - they must be moistened before using) and not to be used to replace the true postage necessary for mailing!

Vintage Happee - Merree Christmas Pack - Seals & Tags in Original Package

This delightful and wonderful envelope is filled with Christmas delights. The original envelope contains gummed Christmas seals - the kind that are water-activated. Due to their age, we suggest you test the gummed seals before wetting them - or, to be safe, use an additional adhesive of your own. Of course, when this package was originally available - in 1944, you'd probably lick them. There are also gift tags for your presents.
The outer envelope was to be sealed in the same manner, by water-activated adhesive, but it has loosened on some of the packages and the contents are easily removed. Everything inside is intact - these have never been opened - except for the set we photographed, and that one, we're keeping for ourselves!
These were originally issued by Fred Fear & Company, listed as the packers on the back of the cover envelope. Fred Fear & Co. was originally a manufacturer and distributor of maple syrup, Easter egg coloring and the like. Their factories were located throughout the northeast United States. This package originates in Brooklyn, N.Y. and indicates that they were made in U.S.A. (The periods in the abbreviations mark their age, too.)
The graphics are typical of the 1940s and many of the stickers feature captions, such as:
Christmas Cheer Open DEC.25th. Holiday Greetings Merry Xmas
and more. The text fonts, colors and illustrations are charming and make you want to go back in time.
This package originally sold for 10¢ in 1944 - probably in a five and dime store. Each package contains 80 seals and 20 tags. The outer envelope measures 5-5/8 by 5-1/2 inches. These are in wonderful condition.

My Mom was a school teacher back in the 1960s and one of her school teacher friends, Evelyn, was lucky enough to also own a gift and stationery store with her husband Howard. They had racks and racks of Dennison and Eureka seals. I could hardly wait for my allowance so that I could buy more of these wonderful gummed stickers. Neither my Mom nor Evelyn (and not even Howard) are still here, but every time I see these wonderful stickers, I think of them all and what fun I had as a little girl.
From new old stock, we have a stapled booklet of 36 wonderful Hallowe'en gummed seals. There are six different die cut designs per page and 6 full pages of stickers. Hallowe'en collectibles are all the rage and very hard to find in such good condition.

Vintage Christmas Seals by the Year
It's hard to believe, but SilverCrow found just about every year from 1930 to 2001. Of course, some years are more limited than others, so make sure to buy all those you need early. You'll receive 10 authentic vintage Christmas Seals from different organizations (such as Boy's Town, the American Lung Association, and others). Each seal is visibly dated.
Consider wrapping your holiday package in plain brown shipping paper, paste a view of these on the package - choose some from a meaningful year for your recipient. This vintage sticker was produced by the Abingdon Press (a publishing house associated with the Methodist Church). Each nicely die-cut with the earthy autumn tones you'd expect when coloring a turkey. Each seal measures 2-1/8 inches high by 7/8 inch at the widest part.
These were originally sold separately, but we've not been able to determine the original price, as they were made in the mid-20th century.
Because the adhesive on the back is as vintage as the pieces themselves, we recommend that you moisten them with a sponge or cloth. Or, use archival glue or paste instead of the vintage adhesive.

Wow! These are really fun! SilverCrow started collecting these long ago and ended up with quite a variety of labels and/or tags for each of these little boxes. Each medium matchbox is filled with 25 gummed labels or tags - all vintage. The gum on the labels is pretty old, so we suggest using your own adhesive. Each assortment is different, so you won't be disappointed if you buy more than one!

Vintage Package of Peach Seals
Originally issued back in the mid-20th century for 15¢ a package, these authentically old gummed (water-activated) stickers are as vibrantly colored - probably chromolithographed die-cuts. We are always delighted to find these vintage items for you!
Due to their age, we suggest you test the gummed seals before wetting them - or, to be safe, use an additional adhesive of your own.
Made by the famous Dennison Company, each packet contains 20 seals - all peaches.
The vibrant colors are reminiscent of the old die cut chromolithographs. These are truly special and in great condition. Some of the packages have been stapled together. We did not disturb or open the packs for an official count - we like to provided them to you as we originally receive them. So, there may be a few missing from some of the packs, but we don't think so.
Each package has been stamped on the back with:

Vintage sheet of Gummed Parcel Post Labels - 8 Labels

Wow! These are great. There are eight labels to a sheet. They are gummed, so the adhesive is water-activated. We suggest that you use other adhesive to apply these to any surface as they are vintage and we're not sure how effective the glue on the back will be.
Each label has a space for your return address (FROM) and a section for the addressee (TO). At the bottom of each label it reads:
PARCEL POST · CONTENTS: MERCHANDISE · RETURN REQUESTED
Each label measures 4-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches. The paper is perforated for easy separation. Some a have a bit of a strip of paper at the bottom that is also removable by perforation. The entire sheet measures about 8-1/2 by 11 inches.

The stickers and seals from the early to mid-20th century are beyond compare in their elegance, design, color printing and expert die cutting. We're happy to present a package of 5 assorted die cut gummed seals.
The seals vary in size and shape as well as in subject matter. Some are made of foil and embossed, some are flocked, and some are so intricately cut that you'd wonder how it was accomplished!
Each set is different as we've taken these from our personal collections. Some of them are even quite rare. You can use them in your artwork in much the same manner as die cuts or scraps.

We were delighted to find these! Imagine - Air Mail Stickers on a roll in the original box! They are marked 100 count, but we cannot guarantee that there are 100 in each package - but there appear to be. We didn't want to disturb the new old store stock packaging to check. These are in wonderful condition for the age! The box is a special one - allowing the labels to be pulled out easily.
These are gummed seals, so they must be moistened before using. We suggest that you use a sponge or moistener as these are vintage. Some may require a touch of paste or glue to help them stay put.
How marvelous for an old-fashioned journal or as an addition to any travel-related artwork!

Vintage Eureka Valentine Stickers
From new old stock, we have a stapled booklet of 48 Valentine silhouette stickers - 6 different designs on each page. These Presto Stick® self-adhesive stickers. These stickers are vintage, although the same patterns are made today.
These stickers are from Eureka, a classic holiday decoration company. We expect that these are from the late 1980s.
These are VINTAGE stickers and the adhesive is probably not as good as it once was. Use caution when removing them from the booklet and, if the adhesive is less than perfect, please add glue or use an adhesive applier (like a Xyron).
